Crystal Reports and uniplicity|report serve different objectives. For standard pre-defined reports, Crystal Reports is an excellent tool. But once you need to add explanations and comments around those numbers or dashboards you just created with Crystal Reports, you need a tool like uniplicty|report, as standard reporting tools are not capable of handling sometimes hundreds and hundreds of pages of text with many contributors involved, as an addition to the pre-defined and pre-formatted tables, graphs or dashboards.
