I struggled but I made it again!

The financial closing of 2010 is over. How was it this time? How many versions were produced this year before the annual report was ready? Let’s hope no mistakes were made and that all figures are consistent in all tables and text.

With uniplicity|report these projects will be structured and efficient. Consistency of figures is guaranteed, not a coincidence, while the whole process is transparent. Automatic version control and continuous links with financial systems are just a few functionalities you would like to have during the annual reporting process.

We are pleased to invite you for a webinar on Wednesday March 30, 2011 at 15.00 CET.

During this webinar we will show how the processes around creating the annual -, half year -, quarterly- or monthly reports can be made efficient, consistent and transparent.

Uniplicity in ControllersMagazine December 2010 (Dutch only)
Monday, 17 January 2011 14:03

Reporting financial results in monthly, quarterly or annual reports, for internal or external purposes, supports the existence of an organization. Based on these reports we take, without fear, the most important decisions. Are these reports after all not a true representation of the truth? Recent history showed at least that not in all cases the truth has been fully respected. Are reports therefor unreliable? And are automated author processes the answer?

In the december issue of Dutch magazine ControllersMagazine, www.controllersmagazine.nl, a Reed Elsevier publication for the financial community in The Netherlands, the author answers these questions in an article with the title 'Ik rapporteer, dus ik besta' ('I report, therefore I exist').

Present Connections Presents uniplicity|report
Wednesday, 04 August 2010 12:29

uniplicity|report helps organizations to manage their complex reporting and documentation processes through: better consistency, more efficiency, complete transparency and better quality. Unlike creating reports through a ‘cut-copy and paste’ process using products like MS Word, MS Excel and MS Outlook as the primary workflow engine, uniplicity|report automates, structures and streamlines the whole process of creating and aggregating, through management, control and publication of internal and external reports.

This is how Present Connection presents uniplicity|report to customers. You can read more www.presentconnection.nl.

Uniplicity introduces new ROI model for reporting processes
Thursday, 17 September 2009 09:25

Uniplicity, market leader in Reporting Process Management, introduces a new model for calculating the return on investment when structuring reporting processes. This model that has been developed based on real time cases calculates the pay back time based on a three main categories:

  • efficiency, both coordination as well as the process itself
  • compliance and control
  • and market risk

Based on a questionaire Uniplicity makes this ROI calculation transparent. The result is an indication of the ROI of the investment in software and structuring the report creation process over a period of three years.

Our website visitors can get a quick preview by answering only a few questions here. When showing the result of this quick scan, visitors have the possibility to obtain a more detailled report.

Round Table 17th of December 2009

Round table: Control your reporting process.

December 17, 2009, Uniplicity organizes a round table discussion regarding the organization of your reporting process. How do you know all the numbers in your report are consistent. How many people are involved, how do you control what they do? How do you manage compliancy in the process itself? Are you sure that you manage all mistakes and errors? If the C-level signs off, do they know for what they sign off and how the annual report was made? Do you give them an inside in the process?

The Story Behind the Numbers
Friday, 23 January 2009 16:26

Deloitte Consulting's Senior Manager Information Management, Stefan van Duin, writes an article in Computable (Dutch IT magazine) together with Remco van Rossum, partner at Singel & Partners about BI reporting, being more than just a simple "push the button". Reporting is a process where people work together to tell the story behind the numbers.

Please read the article (sorry, Dutch only!) Auteursomgevingen, het verhaal achter de cijfers.

Full Orbit Agreement
Wednesday, 17 December 2008 10:33

Full Orbit, BI partner and specialized in Oracle technology, signs a partner agreement with Uniplicity. As of January 1, 2009, Full Orbit will act as reseller for uniplicity|report, the Uniplicity flagship product, as well as implementation partner. Full Orbit has a long track record of implementing successfuly BI solutions with a variety of customers. Based on a self developed tool: Insight Repository, Full Orbit is capable of matching business need and actual BI implementation.

According to André Deumers, technology director at Full Orbit, uniplicity|report is the missing part in succesfull BI implementations: "Data warehouses allow you to generate a whole set of custom built pre-defined reports but once you need to add explanations or interpretations to those numbers, you are lost. An uncontrolled process and no structure what so ever. With strict compliancy rules in financials these days, this is not acceptable! uniplicity|report fills a gap and we are glad to partner with them".

Geert-Peter van Asperen, commercial director of Full Orbit added: "Our customers have been asking for an additional reporting tool to organize and structure their reporting processes for a long time. With uniplicity|report we found a solution that serves their needs. We are all very excited and we foresee a great year ahead now that strict reporting and traceable and auditable processes will become inevitable".

Round table: Annual report and compliancy. Jan. 15, 2009, Uniplicity organizes a round table discussion regarding the organization of the annual report creation process.
